I had two paragraphs about running a Kickstarter but I am just going to get to the point of this post: the success of My Father Wrestles Alligators wouldn’t have happened without all that help from my crowd. So I want to make sure I can pay this forward somehow. After thinking long and hard about it, I determined the best thing I can do right now is to highlight my fellow creators. These will be people I follow. People whose work I enjoy. And people whose audience I can maybe help grow a bit….even if sometimes they have more followers than me! In my opinion, a good recommendation is better than any fancy marketing.
Follow Remember the Game
Even though it never went away, today I am bringing back #FF and I am starting with my buddy Adam Blank and Remember the Game.
Remember the Game is a great podcast for retro video game fans. If you grew up on Nintendo and Sega, you should check out Adam’s pod.
The show is an excellent listen. It is casual and not snooty. It’s like every gaming conversation you had on your couch when you were young because it has normal people as guests. You don’t have to be a hardcore gamer to enjoy it and it hits all the feels just right.
Listening to Remember the Game is bound to take you back playing Nintendo in your buddy’s basement. You’ll probably remember teaming up on the odd man out in Mario Kart Battlemode. Or you’ll remember cursing at your tube tv over Ecco the Dolphin.
If you are a podcast person who enjoys the days of Mario vs Sonic or Ice Hockey vs Blades of Steel, definitely follow Remember the Game.
